1. Orientation training


• They are typically held once or twice a year and provide new employees with an overview of the key priorities of the organization and of the roles of the different units within that organization.

• One of the key advantages of the orientation format is that it allows large numbers of people to be briefed at one time.

2. SOPs Training


• Every company should have a training manual and/or collection of written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to help new employees learn the company's procedures and policies.

• These written materials should be used only to supplement experiential training, however, as few people can really learn how to do a job by simply reading about it.
