Methods of forecasting the employee demand

1. Tendency analyzing method.

This method studies the demand for employee in the previous years to make a prediction about the demand in the future. This method is orientational, not accurate due to the dependence on factors of time and common tendency. It is often applied in places where the business is rather stable.

2. Coefficient analyzing method.

In this method, Estimating the demand for employee uses a coefficient between a business scale variable of an amount of products, sales or services and the number of employees proportionally needed.

3. Correlation analyzing method.

Identify the statistic correlation between 2 comparable variables, for example: the number of employees and the production scale of the firm. Then, the company can predict their employees demand according to the correlative production scale.

4. Method using computer:

Based on the prediction about the amount of products and services, elapsed time needed per product, working time multiplier, the maximum or minimum number of sale projects and by using available coefficients in the program, the company can quickly identify their human resource demand in the future.

5. Method using expert’s estimation:

This method is widely used in practice and plays an important role in estimating the demand for employees. Experts estimate this demand by evaluating and analyzing the impact of changeable environmental factors on the working of the firm from which they can give estimation about the employee demand.
